CUI BROWNIE AWARDS Nominations for the fifth annual Brownie Awards which recognize brownfields (contaminated sites) remediation close August 5 and will be awarded at the sixth annual Canadian Brownfields Conference in Ottawa October 13-14. The awards are sponsored by Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation CMHC. The seven award categories are 1. policies and programs at the national or provincial level, 2. programs and communications at the community level, 3. green design and technology, 4. capital financing and risk management, 5. heritage and adaptive reuse 6. individual achievement and all projects entered are eligible for 7.
