    The report is a review of media coverage of brownfields redevelopment across the United States, that analyzes national and regional trends in the reuse of contaminated land. There are over 450,000 brownfield sites nationwide across the US. Financial incentives, national legislation, environmental insurance and many creative public/private partnerships are driving redevelopment across the country. Properties as small as gas stations and as large as thousand acre former military bases being cleaned up, redeveloped and returned to productive commercial, retail and even residential use.
