Seneca College of Applied Arts & Technology has three exciting and diverse co-op programs that may be of interest to you for the summer of 2006.
Applied Degree - Integrated Environmental Site Remediation
Major areas of study include:
Environmental chemistry
Urban and regional planning
Phase I/II environmental site assessment
Sampling procedures and protocols
Environmental Technician & Technology
Major areas of study include:
Water, air and soil sampling
Watershed planning
Water resources technology
Environmental science
Civil Engineering Technician and Technology
Major areas of study include:
Surveying
Strength of materials
Advanced computer software packages
Construction inspection
Our co-op students are available from the end of April until the beginning of September ( and in some cases until the end of December). Most, if not all, have either previous experience in their field of study or previous education before coming to Seneca. They are willing to relocate throughout the province as well as work shifts, if required.
We will be starting the recruitment process in January for the summer workterm and I would be more than happy to answer any questions or supply further information about the co-operative education process utilized here at Seneca College.
