Yellowknife, NT - The Contaminants & Remediation Directorate is hosting a full one day Session at the Geoscience Forum on Thursday Nov 22, 2007. The Session, titled Adaptive Environmental Remediation, has two parts; Part 1 Current Remediation Practices will focus on the technology and practices used today for remediation of tailings, waste and wastewater. Part 2 will look at designing engineered structures in the context of global warming.


Seek six to eight abstracts for Part1.


The deadline for abstract submission is Oct 15th. Powerpoint presentations are limited to 15 min. All speakers must register and day passes are available. If you would like to present (or have your consultant discuss an aspect of your remediation project) please contact the session chair with your presentation title. The abstract submission guidelines can be found in the "2007 Technical program Circular and Call for Abstracts" at the site www.nwtgeoscience.ca/forum.
