Public Consultation is required for municipal planning approvals. These mandatory consultations are led by the Municipality, however the developer may wish to conduct additional consultations. This is particularly important for sites that may be sensitive to the community. Through effective education and outreach, the general public will often become more aware and comfortable with the service station redevelopment project.
