The Building Permit typically deals with construction plans and their relation to the Ontario Building Code (OBC). It is the final permit in the municipal permit system. Decisions of the OBC can not be appealed to Council or the Ontario Municipal Board (OMB). Issuance of a Building Permit typically takes 4 to 6 weeks.
